As you can see, I started my artful life early on by making fashion statements! I'm sure that my older sister was jealous, although she probably wore those green boots first!
When I was in the 2nd grade, I took after-school art classes from the high school art teacher, Mrs. Smith. One look at the pottery kick wheel and I was in love...only Mrs. Smith told me that my legs were too short to use it! I had to wait through 5 years of coil and pinch pots to get my chance...and I have been at it ever since!
Since 1977 , I have worked full time as a potter.
My current studio is located in the heritage district of Dundas,Ontario. There, with 2 cats and 2 Newfoundland dogs to help, inspire and humour me I produce a wide
range of decorative and functional work.
